Lesaka eta Luzaideko euskal testu parekatuak

Abstract

This article presents two 19th-century Basque manuscripts. It makes a contrast, in two columns, of the peculiarites of the local language spoken in Lesaca and Valcarlos based on a common initial theme and text. The authors of the texts are Anastasio Echeverri (1832-1907) from Elizondo, and Nicolás Polit (1834-1906) from Burguete. This could be an interesting contribution to studies into Basque dialectology.
