Abstract

The excavated remains belong to the pars rustica of a Roman villa. The first stages of this settlement, in which it has been registered up to four constructive phases, seem to have a republican origin ( i and ii BC) and a development in the days of the High Empire ( i and ii AC), with a continuation of some marginal activities which remain up to iv century. It is important to emphasize the existence of a wine cellar and a concrete warehouse among the exhumed structures. The concrete warehouse has some similarities with functional settlements type fullonica.
