Memoria de la intervención arqueológica en el número 12 de la calle Herrerías de Tudela [Memory of archaeological intervention at 12 Herrerías Street in Tudela]

Abstract

The paper presents the results of the excavation made in the solar occupied by Herrera Spínola’s palace placed at 12 Herrerías Street in Tudela. It analyzes the several occupation phases: the Roman ages, the Islamic period, with remarkable burials from the Herrerías necropolis, and the 9th century wall. In the same way the paper explains the medieval and modern urbanism that ends with the construction of the Spínola’s palace in the 18^th century.
