Abstract

The site of El Villar of Ablitas includes the remains of a Roman villa dating from between I-v century AD. Since 2010, archaeological excavation campaigns have been carried out uninterruptedly. In 2015 the works have consisted of the excavation in area of 4 spaces and 5 surveys in order to increase the information on the urban distribution of the Villa, as well as the contextualisation and chrono-stratigraphic interpretation of the site. Campaign after campaign, the site confirms that we are facing one of the largest Roman villas preserved in Navarre whose remains are in an excellent state of preservation.
