Arqueología y memoria: las fortificaciones de frontera en Navarra bajo el franquismo (Auritz/Burguete y Orreaga/Roncesvalles) [Archeology and memory: frontier fortresses in Navarre during Francoism (Auritz/Burguete y Orreaga/Roncesvalles)]
Abstract
This article provides an introduction to the fortifications built from the end of the 1930s until the first few years of the 1950s spanning the French-Spanish border along the Pyrenees (Luzaide/Valcarlos, Orreaga/Roncesvalles, Auritz/Burguete and Garralda), which came to form part of what is commonly known as the «Línea P». The text pays particular attention to its construction within the context of the Spanish postwar period and Francoist repression, through the existing documentation. Another part analyzes the work carried out during the «P Line field camp for young people» in 2017, which focused on the Centers of Resistance 209 and 210 and where cataloging work was carried out.
