Abstract

During the 2017 and 2018 campaigns, a kiln used in the first half of the 1st century AD to produce different types of ceramics, both tableware (thin wall) and common, was discovered. This kiln was put to use to construct a rustic villa, of which only what was left of two hypocausts remained in place. The 2019 campaign focused on the excavation of the broken-pottery depository for the kiln excavated in 2018. The Roman kiln and adjoining broken-pottery depository are an exceptional find, their being the only set of their kind discovered and excavated in Navarre.
