Abstract

The objective of the campaign of 2020 is to give value to the rocker castle of Guerga, dated between XI-XII century. The evidences are in a process of dissapearance because of factors of erosion and numerous visitors. Therefore during this campaign the tower has been consolidated, with the reconstruction of a part of it in order to facilitate its stability. The east wall will be consolidated in the future. The Project is conceived in an anual plan of investigation and consolidation, with the participation of the neighbours of the Valley of Valdorba.
