Abstract

Excavation work resumed at the Roman city of Santa Criz de Eslava in September 2021. these interventions focused on the upper platform of the forum, because until now we only knew a monumental cryptoportico which closed the square on its south side. The results of the surveys carried out in this campaign help to further our knowledge of the forum floor, until now there only being hypotheses regarding its architectural design.
