Intervención arqueológica en San Nicolás 2021 [Archaeological intervention at San Nicolás 2021]

Abstract

The decision by Tudela City Council not to continue the Archaeology Workshops at San Nicolás church brought an end to a period of uninterrupted archaeological intervention which began in 2014. This work recovered 276 tombs, materials and structures from the three different buildings the church had. In 2021, a minimum intervention was carried out to leave the excavated surface uncovered without affecting the remains until restoration of the building and archaeological work is resumed.
