Abstract

The text includes the work carried out in 2023 in the municipalities of Baztan and Bertizarana (Navarre) from a Landscape archaeology perspective. In this campaign, geoarchaeological surveys were carried out to reconstruct the history of the plant landscape based on different indicators. The first survey was carried out in a small peat bog on Elorrieta hill (Baztan), representative of the mountain areas of Atlantic Navarre. The second survey was carried out on the Bidasoa floodplains at Narbarte (Bertizarana), indicative of the valley areas in the region.
