Cerco de Artajona. Actuaciones en el frente norte en 2024 [Cerco of Artajona. Actions on the northern front in 2024]
Abstract
In the 2024 campaign, the excavation of the wall section between open tower number 7 and 8 on the northern front of the «Cerco» has been carried out. An effort has been made to document its current state of conservation as well as to delimit the section of wall closest to open tower number 8, where it was lost. It has been documented that the ruins were covered by rubble in the second half of the 20th century. A hypothesis is also proposed about the fort present on the promenade between both open towers.
