Poblado fortificado de San Isidro/Alto del Corral (Dicastillo). Actuación preventiva de 2024 [San Isidro/Alto del Corral (Dicastillo) hillfort. Preventive archeology 2024]
Abstract
In 2024, an archaeological survey was carried out in the Iron Age hillfort of San Isidro/Alto del Corral, with the aim of recover a storage pottery and its context. This was determined by the risk of deterioration, loss or theft, in a site that had suffered in the past a serious damage that resulted in the interior emptying of a significant part of its area. The excavation was completed and it was finally determined that the ceramics were part of a series of fillings resulting from a remodelling of the space at some point late in the II. Iron Age.
