Abstract

This article deals with the speech of Mendavia’s people, the conversations in the country, the chats of the women, the proverbs and commonly used expressions, the songs, the documental vocabulary and the nicknames.

Concerning to the costume, the author describes the traditional dress, the underwear, the special garments, the religious medals and trimmings, the amulets, the hair style, the protection of the wardrobe, the uniforms, the garments that were worn in the past, named in the courts and the complaints, the stuff, the taylors, the wearing shoes, the hempen cloth, the canvas, the weavers and many more subjects.
