Abstract

Añorbe is a village of the Middle Zone of Navarra. In this essay begins the publication of a series of texts in which a qualitative and quantitative approach is sought to the social and economic history of the village in the Modern Age. The essay starts with the summary of the rich existent documenta tion, to carry on with the commentary of the document dated 1528, by which the two until then existent parishes became unified. According to that document a new decisive economic cycle of the structure of the village begins until half 19th century.
