Abstract
Traditional beekeeping, widely spread all over Navarra geography, is almost extinct of our villages. The larger part of abejeras that housed the traditional skeps has disappeared or is seriously damaged. However, half hidden by weeds, it is still possible to find some of them, abandoned witnesses of the past. The Populo´s abejera described below is an example that allows us to go back in time and evoke this kind of beekeeping.
