El aporte de Leoncio Urabayen al conocimiento etnográfico local [The contribution of Leoncio Urabayen to local ethnographic knowledg. His study about Ezkabarte]

Abstract

Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of his death, we present this article about the work of Leoncio Urabayen. It includes a review of his monograph on the valley of Ezkabarte and a brief analysis of other studies by this researcher, because, although these works were mainly conceived from a geographical point of view, they are also very useful to know many issues related to the local ethnographic panorama. Both sections are preceded by brief biographical notes about the person of this interesting geographer and Navarrese pedagogue.
