Apuntes etnográficos sobre Sangüesa de 1961 y 1973. Entrevistas de Javier Sola Martínez a Roberto Elduayen Miranda y Andresa Goñi Martínez [Ethnographic notes on Sangüesa from 1961 and 1973: Interviews by Javier Sola Martínez with Roberto Elduayen Miranda and Andresa Goñi Martínez]
Abstract
Among the ethnographic documents in the José María Jimeno Jurío Archive, there are two transcribed interviews recorded by the teacher from Sangüesa, Javier Sola Martínez, with two of his fellow townspeople. The first interview was conducted with Roberto Elduayen in 1961, and the second with Andresa Goñi in 1973. The latter was recorded at the request of José María Jimeno Jurío. Both interviews contain recollections of domestic life, daily routines, and local festivities from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Although Sola was not a professional ethnographer, his interviews reflect the influence of the method promoted by José Miguel de Barandiarán and constitute a valuable testament to Navarrese Ethnography from that period.
