Étymologies basques, termes expressifs et substratiques

Abstract

Expressivity has never been an obstacle for the existence of genetic or areal linguistic relationship. On the contrary, it very often reveals very old roots common to several linguistic families due to the existence of very old substrata which have extended probably on the whole so-called Old-Continent. The comparison of this old Pre-Indoeuropean language represented by the Basque Language with other Pre-Indoeuropean languages is thus completely justified, upon condition to be done with the necessary seriousness and by competent and objetive comparatists or etymologists.
