Antton Ezeiza en el debate Cine/Euskera
Abstract
After a cinematographic career initiated into the frame of the so-called «New Spanish Cinema», and a exile for political reasons in Central America, the film-maker from San Sebastián Antton Ezeiza will return to Euskadi in 1977 ready to incorporate himself to the Basque Country’s cinema. Two objetives will label its work from now on, to create the bases for a basque national cinematography, and to try the euskera to be an «unavoidable» presence into this project. The coordination of the series Ikuska and the production of the film Ke arteko egunak are the practical incarnation of a dream not yet cristalized.
