Abstract

Luis Michelena (1915-1987) wrote this inedited dissertation for his public competition for the Chair of Indo-European Linguistics at the University of Salamanca (1966). The first part discusses the general problems of reconstruction, its methods and meaning with special application to the IndoEuropean field. The second pare studies the problems the finding of materials related to Asia Minor has posed for Indo-European Linguistics.
