Abstract

In this paper, the author, following Yuri Zystar's works, defines the features of come Spanish sentences which contain or could contain the so called Autotive voice. These sentences can be classified neither as active nor as passive, that's why Andrey Pinkevich states the need to have thern classified under a new grammatical voice. The author discards the term Anticausative and prefers to adopt Yuri Zytsar's coinage Autotive. The Autotive voice would be closely united to the category of Event in contrast to the category of Action.
