Abstract

One of the main characteristics of toponymy lies on the fact that its consequences and conclusions exceed merely linguistic boundaries. In this paper the trading onomastic of two small villages la Anteiglesia de Guecho and Portugalete is described, and the onomastic of both Basque and Castilian origin is studied.
