Anotaciones para un curso de Lingüística general
Abstract
This article collects the unpublished materials of an open course that Luis Michelena taught about General Linguistics. The text includes examples from basque. The notes have been recovered from the author's personal files, and ordered and commented by J. M. Satrustegui. The initial project covers five chapters:
1) The description of languages
2) History of language
3) Etymology
4) Prehistory of language.
A great effort has been made to understand and transcribe the notes as accurately and faithfully as possible.
