Abstract

An unpublished work by Gabriel Aresti, which would have been used as the foreword to the second volume of the Arestiar Hiztegi Tipia (Small Aresti Dictionary). He complains about the fact that his contribution to the preliminary stages of the agreements on the literary unification of the Basque language is not given the appropriate consideration. It also tells us about the projet to elaborate a work called Klasikoen Dizkionario Sintetikoa (Synthetic Classics Dictionary), with a list of possible collaborators and the task to be assigned to each one of them.
