Resumen

La conciencia metalingüística es fundamental para el éxito académico del alumnado plurilingüe, ya que facilita la lectura, la escritura y el aprendizaje de segundas lenguas. Esta investigación se ha realizado en un centro de Educación Secundaria de gran diversidad lingüística. Se ha utilizado un diseño cuasi-experimental para analizar el impacto de la elaboración específica de las Habilidades Básicas de Lenguaje Académico y del translanguaging pedagógico. Los resultados cuantitativos y cualitativos indican que la intervención puede contribuir al desarrollo de la conciencia metalingüística del alumnado, destacando la necesidad de su integración en la enseñanza.
