Abstract

This inscription, recovered by chance in Lekunberri, is an extremely important finding, given the scarcity of such epigraphic testimonies in the Iberian peninsula, being the only one, till now, from the ancient territory of the Vascones. Since the text is limited to six letters, missing, therefore, the mention to the entities that were divided by the boundary stone, we propose two different possible interpretations: either refers to the limit between two conventi iuridici: cluniensis and caesaraugustanus, or between two peoples: Vascones and Varduli.
