Noticia del hallazgo de un hipocausto romano en Ribaforada (Navarra) [News of the discovery of a Roman hypocaust in Ribaforada (Navarre)]

Abstract

The discovery of a new hypocaust system in Navarre at a previously unknown site in Ribaforada is described. The remains would appear to belong to a rural settlement, probably a villa from the 1^st-2^nd century. The base of the hypocaust chamber, comprising the duct to the praefurnium, pilae stacks and foundations, is in very good condition despite lying near current ground level.
