Abstract

In this survey campaign we have completed the excavation of the magdalenian layer of Sagaskin 3 and examinated the archaeological potential of the strata that lay below it. As a result of these studies, it has been possible to examine and describe in more detail some pending stratigraphic aspects, and it has been possible to definitively correlate and unify the sequence, which until now had been addressed through successive extensions between the 2018-2020 campaigns. During the field campaign, new archaeological remains from the magdalenian period (flint, fauna and charcoals) have been recovered, a new topography of the cave has been elaborated and the surface of the next layer has been cleared, which will be excavated in the next campaign.
