Estelas discoideas de Puente la Reina/Gares

Abstract

This work shows 19 steles from Puente la Reina/Gares which are not recorded yet. Up to now they have been kept in private homes and this fact has been a help for their preservation. Most steles were made in the Middle Ages as the origins of the town date back to that period. This article shows the steles and makes an appeal for a better preservation and care of this popular art.
