Abstract

This article studies the development of the local relations in the navarrese Pyrenees, and more specifically, in the Valley of Roncal. For which reason, we analyze the concepts of neighbor and rural vicinity from an ethnographic perspective. Of this form, the study describes the structure of the neighborhoods and their evolution along the last decades. Nevertheless, it does not leave to loan a special attention to the different formulate of existent assemblies in the territory. Likewise, the research looks through the rights and obligations that the belonging to these local surroundings generated for each person.
