Artífices (II) y maestros [Makers (II) and teachers]

Abstract

This work gathers the chore of silversmiths, druggists, surgeons, midwifes, veterinary surgeons, the so-called teachers in the art of healing. Also, the school teachers, whose problems were settled in hearings in front of the mayor and the ordinary judge of the town. Sheep-shearers, blacksmiths, cartwrights, watchmakers, organ craftsmen, sculptors, bell-founders, glaziers and, especially, foremen and stonemasons, who executed the enlargement of the church and the construction of the beautiful tower of Mendavia. Also a paragraph is included with forming implements that are mentioned in the different hearings and complaints of the neighbors.
