Ikazkintza Sakanan [Charcoal trade in Sakana]

Abstract

This article aims to explain the trade of charcoal maker, which was practiced at least in the first half of the twentieth century and some of the best-known details of the chickadee profession are given. It reflects information received by charcoal makers that existed in the Sakana at that time: where and how the charcoal kiln was made, its components, the tools used by the charcoal makers and their way of life.
