Erronkaribarko etxe-izen euskaldunak [Basque house names in Roncal valley]

Abstract

The author of this article analyses the names of the houses in Roncal Valley. In April 2018 a book was published, wich comprises all the house names. Based on this book and using some other articles, books and websites, it lists and classifies the Basque names. These are the most important conclusions: the Basque dialect of Erronkari is alive in the names of the houses of the valley, and it is dominant among them.
