El origen pasivo de la conjugación euskérica

Abstract

This a further study about the “passivism” of Basque verbs. New evidence and arguments are forwarded in an attempt at demonstrating that verbs in Euskara were originally conjugated in the passive voice or, to put it another way, using Izan. If the study succeeds in any way and this passivism can begin to be demonstrated, maybe the as-of-yet elusive theory of the Basque verb can then be looked into.
