Comparación y reconstrucción lingüísticas
Abstract
The author makes a reasoned exposition of the theories regarding linguistic comparison and transformation in order to make the choice between lineal reconstruction and transformational grammar. Taking into account that all states of language originate from another state of language, he reaches the principle of complementarity between external comparison and internal reconstruction. In fact, all that is real is possible, and at the same time, the combinatory wealth of reality greatly exceeds the combinatory capacity of the imagination.
