Texto bilingüe de una canción amorosa guipuzcoana del siglo XVIII
Abstract
The reputed intrigue of the amorous affair berween two young people who met on the occasion of the works in the choir of Santa María church in San Sebastian (1775), included the proof of some bilingual verses that the plaintiff considered to be of the accused.
In the opinion of severat witnesses, these lyrics were well-known in Guipúzcoa and were also sung in Pamplona. The author was the graduate Vicente Zuazola, mayor of Tolosa, who composed them for one of Mr. Amara of San Sebastian's daughters, who would later be his wife.
