Abstract

This work aimed at the inhabitants of the Valley of Olio, wants to be a collection of data, news and remains of the Basque language spoken in the valley. The article has two clearly different parts; on the one hand written testimony, among which we should point out 1777's sermons and Erizkizundi irukoitza, on the other hand we have oral testimony: place-names and substract remains, important because they are the only live remains of the ancient language of the valley.
