Abstract
Te royal coronation of Catherine of Foix and Juan III of Albret included an oath of the Fueros. Nevertheless, Philip of Habsburg took the same oath in 1551 without any other rite, though being still an inheritor. The kings, also the Navarrese ones, needed to do adjustments after the conquest and incorporation to the Monarchy of Spain.
