(Una) Historia de ASNABI, a punto de cumplir 25 años (1995 - 2019) [A history of ASNABIi, now approaching its 25th anniversary (1995-2019)]

Abstract

In 2020 ASNABI (Asociación Navarra de Bibliotecarias y Bibliotecarios/Nafarroako Liburuzainen Elkartea - Navarre Association of Librarians) will be celebrating its 25th anniversary. This work aims to review the history and evolution of the Association right from its foundation in 1995. It is also directed at demonstrating the role that the Association has played in the development, increased visibility and recognition of the profession of librarian in Navarre and how it has helped transform our library system.

As key reference sources, the author has drawn on the asnabi Archive itself and on various WEB searches, in  ddition to direct consultation with different people who either have had or have an active role in the  Association.
