El castillo y el primer escudo de armas de Cintruénigo [The castle and the first coat of arms of Cintruénigo]

Abstract

This work analyzes the emblem of the town, the Council of Cintruénigo, collected in its oldest seal, both the text and the iconographic elements that appear in it. In this way, we also contribute to better understand the evolution of the medieval fortifications that were built there and of the urban population in the 16th and 17th centuries.
