Abstract

We publish here a translation of Gustav Henningsen’s first article on witchcraft in Zugarramurdi, which appeared in 1969 in the Finnish journal Temenos*, of limited availability in Spain. That same year, Caro Baroja made the same documentation known through Príncipe de Viana. While Henningsen presented the documentary collection in chronological order, Caro Baroja did so in shelf list order (sequential order of the documents). The two articles complement each other.
