Abstract

During World War II Spain was a nest of spies. The Intelligence Service created networks to prepare an invasion in case Germany decided to take Gibraltar. One of them was established in Navarra, recruiting three Carlist priests to organize military units that would support the British invasion. The background is the national and Carlist context, with archive documents and bibliography of the Carlists and their world. They used the restoration of the monarchy to gain support, concealing their military and financial ties with England.
