Abstract

Navarre’s historical palaces, dispersed around all its geography and closely connected with its history, are available to increase our knowledge of this ancient kingdom. To reclaim their importance and to make their future research easier, we are going to present a specific guide to work with Archivo Real y General de Navarra’s documentation properly. To provide this article with some useful examples, we are going to see the case of Jaureguia (Irurita). We think that those examples would help researchers to know more about the characteristics of this documentation before they begin to work with it.
