Una nueva atribución al taller pictórico de los Oscáriz: el retablo mayor de Inza
Abstract
The main altarpiece of Saint James of Inza is one of the most outstanding works of the Navarre painting of the XVI century that is still withouth written evidences. The historical and artistic study of it allowed us, due to its stylistical affinity, to attribute this altarpiece to one of the most important painting workshops of the second half of the XVI century, the Oscariz workshop. In the last third of the century this workshop was directed by Ramon Oscariz, in his paintings the gothic Spanish-Flemish tradition and the renaissance Italian influences coincide.
