Abstract

In the parish of Santa Maria de Los Arcos there is a chapel which has housed a gothic Flemish altarpiece since the middle of the 20th century. This altarpiece is artistically related to the workshop of Pedro Díaz de Oviedo, author of the principal altarpiece of the Cathedral of Tudela. This chapel is known as the “Capilla de los Eulate” or “Chapel of the Eulate”.
Thus, this work seeks to identify the patron of this chapel of the 15th century and, in all probability, the person who provided the Chapel with this altarpiece. It will later identify those patrons who, throughout the centuries, used the Chapel by right of inheritance until it arrived in the hands of the Eulate
