Entre Aragón y Navarra: el arciprestazgo de la Valdonsella a fines de la Edad Media

Abstract

For generations, the inhabitants of the region of Valdonsella obeyed in the political order to the king of Aragon, whereas in the spiritual order they obeyed to the bishop of Pamplona. The objective of this article consists of analyzing the lawsuit that was settled by the possession of that region between the dioceses of Pamplona and Huesca in the transit of century 15th to the 16th, framing the conflict in the relations between Aragon and Navarra and in the international policy of Fernando II.
