Frey Pedro de Acedo y Mirafuentes, gran prior de la Orden de San Juan de Jerusalén en Navarra

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to present two different facets of the figure of don Pedro de Acedo y Mirafuentes. Fistly, we will see him in his role as a leading member of the order of Saint John of Jerusalem in Navarre and later as the Great Prior of Navarre within the same order, which gave him the right to vote in the Parliament of the Kingdom. Throughout his mandate as the Great Prior he devoted great time and effort in compiling all documents related to the works carried out under his canonical jurisdiction.
