Abstract
Using the information from the Registers of “Comptos” from the end of the XIII century to the mid-XIV century, news of rustling of cattle belonging to Navarrese farmers living in the outer reaches of the community by Guipuzcoan and Alavese bandits is compiled in chronological order. Although there exist no few lacunae in the documents, it is possible to arrive at a fairly complete image of the theft of livestock which took place on the so-called “frontera de los malhechores” (outlaw frontier).
