Abstract

Tres escritores navarros y su contribución al Género Chico  de finales del siglo XIX (Three Navarrese writers and their contribution to the “Género Chico“ of the late XIX century) contributes towards our knowledge of nineteenth-century Navarrese literary history. The article offers, first of all, notes on the “Género Chico” (19th-century light, often musical, theatrical works) and its situation in the second half of the XIX century including a select bibliography with which to situate the work of the three Navarrese authors, whose contribution was extensive, in context.
Sustained attention is then paid to each of the three authors: Pedro Górriz Moreda, Fiacro Iraizoz Espinal and Federico Urrecha Segura.
