Abstract

The aim of this article is to analyze the titles and the thematic contents of the books of the library of a landowner of Valtierra, Francisco de Echarren y Atondo, died en 1795. It tries to penetrate, therefore, into the characteristics of the libraries and mentalities at the end of the XVIIIth century  between the rural gentry of Navarre.
